The delay in blogging was caused by website trouble. Hopefully this won't happen again.
The end has come to module 2. It's always a busy time when IBEM (the institute) is on which is good, but it's nice to be able to have a few days rest when it's all over. Since finishing, we have had 2 half-day team meetings and washed 15 sheets and 1/2 dozen blankets, but that aside we have also had a couple days of much needed rest. After about a days rest, Rich was wishing he could be doing some teaching again. This is obviously where his gifting and passion is.
This is the first time we've had the mini conference around the same time as a module, making it seem longer, but we have realized if we do it again, we need to schedule in family break time for each of the families involved. We live and learn.
Now IBEM is over we all have to start refocusing on what kept getting shoved to the back burner. One of the major things we need to get moving on is getting GLO Peru recognized as a legal organization. We're not exactly sure how to go about doing this, but it will probably mean lots of paperwork and waiting in lines. Once this is in place we can start looking more at what we can do with the land.
To add to last weeks shopping dilemma, this week the toy I was looking at and already bought, went down 25 soles. Exchange is about 3 soles to US $. Prices do fluctuate a lot here!
